a recorder device !!!

hi crew …it seems that …getting audio channels or the ability to set a track to record the incoming audio of the other tracks is out …of the playbook at the moment

but im wodering if the devs …can add a recorder device inside Renoise …like the one Live has …that you place into the channel and its useful to record overdubs or basically any audio material and then you can drag and drop the file into a clip (in our case into the sampler)…

this would allow us to make in my case recordings of Reaktor …in realtime and control the diff parameters using OSC directly to reaktor…

and get all of that into the recording

do you guys think this can be a solution …and something of value to the software ?

This is an awesome idea, makes me think of #renoise as a superlooper device.

yeahh …it would open even more doors for resampling and sound manipulation in withing the daw…like the thing i was doing in my last video …map global parameters to midi knobs like …the LPB or the BPM… and all sorts of weird stuff

and capture all the resulting audio in a device

it would be super awesome

Lets does this…where’s Danoise :drummer: :walkman:

drummer :guitar: :drummer: :yeah:

the whole band

There should be some VSTe’s out there that do the trick, already. Have a look at Voxengo WAV recorder for example: http://www.voxengo.com/product/recorder/
