The moog guitar basically has multiple ebows built into it.


You can sustain infinitely, the whole thing or individual strings.

You can also selectively mute strings using the same ebow style magnetism.


Also has midi ( so you can use breath controller or expression pedal ) and nice filters too.

Should be the new standard for all electric guitars and the frets should light up on all electric guitars by now as well.


Sounds very nice, like physical modelling sythnesis except the oscilllators are actually physical ( strings ).


Thinking about the selective muting without using your palm, if you dont have a moog guitar, you can always shove a small piece of cloth under the strings and get a similar sound i suppose...


Infinite sustain with breath controller would be cool though.
