A collection of instruments from S. Christian Collins, originally found here. I've included a modulation set to make the instruments more playable.

Since you've downloaded it danoise, did the "Natural Touch" modulation set get installed for you? I have to manually install it, otherwise it doesn't show up.

Nope, it didn't show up. Hmm.

But thanks for sharing. The library definitely has a distinctive sound - very 'solid', in lack of a better term.

Could see myself using this, very versatile and complete, without requiring gigabytes of HDD space.

Yeah the xrnl is just a zip file. I put the modulation file in a folder called "Modulations," so you can take it out of there.

If you load up the library in Renoise it says something like "Installed a Modulation and Multi-Sample," so I think the file is fine. Maybe it's a bug?

i think all work fine, can extract with a packer and also install your *.xrnl in renoise

but i dontfind the path "GeneralUserGS" or (as example): 025_808_909 in renoise

Oh I see, you should be able to see the menu I posted below. Was that the problem?

Thank you Skolskoly !! now I found it :)
very instructive the "format" libary I have not noticed.
The modulation presets are also fine

work a while, try an error on a simple general-midi drum set with a few patterns.
your GeneralUserGS is very helpful to mes

You called the directory "Modulations". It should be called "Modulation Sets". Then it will install correctly. Great library though! Thanks for sharing!

I created a sketch with GeneralUserGS. I think it showcases some of the sounds well.

Fantastica is named after the Fantasia (2) preset.

Alright. I uploaded version 1.1. Modulation Sets should install properly and show up now. I also moved the Samples directory out of Multi-Samples folder, so you should be able to access the raw sample bank from the waveform editor now. Aside from that I deleted some duplicate patches which only differ by sound-font parameters which are ignored by renoise.

Hope these changes are useful, and let me know if I broke anything. :P
