Keyboard shortcutfs for changing note/chords tones

Coming from FLStudio, I am used to select notes played as a chord and up/down them on the piano roll.

What is the easiest way to do that in renoise ? Is there keyboard shortcuts for this ?

Hi!

Steps:

  1. Write the notes inside a note column
  2. Select a spcecific range with the mouse (or other keyboard command: "Renose/Preferences/Keys: Pattern Edtitor/Selection/…)
  3. Press ALT + F1 or ALT + F2 to change the tone of the selected range (steps of a semitone).
  • CTRL + ALT + F1 or CTRL + ALT + F2 is to change the tone of all the selected note_column
  • CTRL + F1 or CTRL + F2 is to change the tone of all the selected pattern-track

Regards!

This is awesome! Thank you, I wonder why it’s not in the http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Keyboard_Shortcuts page

 It is here:http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Keyboard_Shortcuts#Customising_and_Printing_Shortcuts, but it is not detailed, because they are hundreds of commands…

I also like to use this plugin, Transpose in Scale, which can intelligently transpose a bunch of selected notes from one key/scale to another. It’s nice when you have a lot of notes (chords, arpeggios, etc.) and you want to change them from say a major to a minor7 chord, changing the relationship of the notes to each other, not just simply moving them all the same number of semitones.
