Hi, i'm new to Renoise.

I know this may seem very petty but I've mucked up something on Renoise and I don't know what I've done.

Basically when I put a note in the pattern editor, it won't move over to the next number anymore (if that makes sense).

Any help would be great.

Hey, you`ve set step lenght used in pattern editor to 0, its right under the patern editor, look for 0 here. You can change it with shortcut ctrl +/-

On the panel below the pattern editor, where you find the buttons vol, pan, delay and fx, you see an icon with 3 boxes and a number, which should be 0 in your case. Set it to 1 and it will jump one line every time you enter a note, set it to 2 and it jumps 2 lines and so on.

Another trick: hold SHIFT while entering things, and the cursor will move sideways.

Works for both notes (chords) and effect commands smile.png
