Reason's Europa synth now inside Renoise

I’ve been usingEuropa quite a lot since it appeared in the Reason rack, and Ilove this synth.

Now the Propellerheads have also released Europa as a VST/AU plugin:

(One can even try the Europa synth directly in the web browser, cool)

So I loaded it up in Renoise and it feels really snappy and notso taxing on theCPU. Lots of nice modulation possibilities.

Simply feels great to have Europa in Renoise! :walkman:

Oh wow, indeed!..that’s gotta be some Web Assembly voodoo

Yeah, gottagive Props some props for both the tech and marketing involved here…

Smart move, making Europa availableboth as pluginand also online directly in the web browser, with capability to both save and load patches…

Must be quite nice to usefor people who’resound designing or discussing patches in forums and other social media.

Oh man… Europa in Renoise, using the Plugin Grabber = AWESOME B)

Nice!

I’m also a Reason 10 user and can say Europa is a very good synth. Especially the user wave option, where you can load samples to use them as wavetables. This way you can create awesome sounds.

And the patches/presets of both, the Reason version and the VST version are crossover compatible.

Reason, the one DAW I have never actually tried out … i suppose they have a demo?

You can download the latest version and you can use it in demo mode for 30 days with full functionality. You even can save your song in the demo. But you can not open the song again, until you have registered and aurhorized Reason. This is the only limitation of the demo.

Thanks! The download is a little large for my rural connection, at least via HTTP, but I dropped Propellerhead an email to ask if they’d send it to me on a DVD if I pay for shipping/etc. I doubt they’ll do it, but I figured it’s worth a try.

edit: Sadly, they won’t do this. Even buying the boxed version would still require the download as the box apparently only contains sound banks.

Sounds like you’re referring specifically to Reason DAW, but if you want to try out the Europa synth online, they have a playable demo that works in a browser.

I was instantly inspired by every sound I heard. Great stuff.
