I am using the Novation Launchpad Mini but have no idea how to use is as a finger drum like an MPC. Is it possible to use it as a finger drum? I saw this tutorial video of Ableton and want to know if this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DvzUyURbXM&t=130s) can be done using Renoise and the Launchpad.
Set the Launchpad to “User 1” mode, in which each square button transmits one MIDI note at a fixed velocity (100, if I remember correctly). Almost any sampler can play individual drum samples in response to MIDI notes.
In renoise you can arrange samples (assign them to MIDI notes ) in keyzones.
You can use novation launchpad mini as drumpads, but from what Ive heard they are not velocity sensitive.
