I'd like to remap the '/' key so it toggles the cycle/loop function same as Cubase. As soon as I try to remap this key I get:

Is it not possible to remap the keys that correspond to piano notes on the computer keyboard? I tried printing out the XML file with the key mappings using the "Print" button on the key preferences editor but I couldn't find the slash anywhere.

The keys that are bound to musical notes are hard-coded into Renoise and cannot be directly re-mapped.

If you wish to use the / key for something else then you'll need to combine it with a modifier key such as Shift, Alt, or Ctrl.

Cool thanks for that. I was hoping there may have been a config file I could have modified. I'll add a request to the future requests - when using a real MIDI keyboard, there isn't really a need for the computer piano keys.
