Separate tracks problem

Hi,

I am trying to separate a track to mix in Live. I have success with a few tracks but in the last two the tracks do not belong to the total time of the song, they increase it. I’ ve tried different methods. For example:

  • Mute all tracks except the chosen and render entire song.

  • Separate all tracks.

  • Render two files with the first mentioned method.

And the time of these two tracks does not fit in the song.

Can you help me?.

I do not know why you have a mismatch between recorded tracks.Maybe you can use the SamRender tool. You will create new samples for each track, and you can save each sample in FLAC or WAV format. Then, upload the files to mix live.

Configure the SamRender in “Sequence Range”, always the same sequence range. All the created tracksmust have exactly the same duration. You just have to mutate the unwanted tracks in each pass. So, if you have 10 tracks, you can have the 10 tracks in 10 wav files that have exactly the same duration. You can have the 10 tracks in 10 separate instruments, or the 10 tracks in 10 different samples within the same instrument.

This should also work with Renoise’s native rendering (Renoise: File/Render Song to Disk… ) and select the “Selection in Sequence”, and enable the checkbox of “Save each track into a separate file”.All tracks should last exactly the same time. If it is not like that, something is malfunctioning.

Ok, thanks!.
