Sample Audio Routing

I bought Xfer Cthulhu with the intention of using it to trigger samples. It works fine, Cthulhu is on instrument 00, and my percussive samples are on instrument 01. I have midi routing on instrument 00 set to the samples on instrument 01. I trigger instrument 00 on track 1 with note c4, and voila the samples on instrument 01 play. All good so far. But what happens then is the audio from instrument 01 plays back on track 1, so if I want to mute Cthulhu by turning the track volume down then the samples get muted also.

I can’t seem to find a way to re-route the audio on instrument 01 to another track. Maybe I’m just overlooking something simple here, probably doesn’t help that I’m trying to figure this shit out at 2:30 am either haha. But can someone just gimme a solution cause my brain is mush right now.

Edit:

Actually found the button that mutes Cthulhu internally so it’s all good. Got samples playing with no sound from Cthulhu now. Still would like to know the answer to the question though. Cheers.

Audio from the sample-based part of an instruments is routed via the Effects tab - look at the right-hand side.

Oh of course. Thanks man
