Ok, got a bit of time to tinker with the scripting again.

Just a small beta update adding a new range selector to the GUI. i.e. you can now specify a range of patterns to apply clearing to.

Will go on tools page shortly.

Version 1.0 now up with keybinding/menu entry now acting as a toggle and added keyhandler:

“Clear Junk Data” As ever an alpha so test with care (if without care, there is always undo :))

This tool will clear either:

 • Note-offs which are preceeded by another note-off i.e. they are redundant
 • or “meta data” that is no longer attached to a note i.e. vol, pan delay.

Due to the fact that sometimes it is wanted to have the “unattached” meta data, these two processes have been separated in th GUI for the user to chose.
Also please note that applying these processes to “Track in Song” or “Whole Song” may require a long wait with the usual terminte script dialogs pestering you.

Feedback as ever appreciated!

Ver 0.6

Added a new range of “selection in pattern”

Ver 0.51:

added: progress fraction through patterns, in the renoise status bar
:when processing whole track or whole song

Before:

After both processes have been applied:

Nice one ledger! Cheers.

No probs mate, keep them patterns tidy! :)

Brilliant:)

Awesome, thanks! :)

Glad some others are finding useful aswell.

As a small update I have added a progress status in the renoise status bar. This will appear when processing “Track in Song” or “Whole Song” to make the wait more bareable and to save temptation for script termination…

Nice, this will certainly come in handy :)

Also additionally, could tell what that theme is, or even provide link a link? It looks tasty!

The theme is just a slight modification on one of the standard provided ones to be a bit clearer to my eyes :) , you are welcome to have the xml:

v1.1

note-off delay values are no longer deleted when meta data is chosen:

Nice very useful.

I would love to have the clear selection in pattern as a rightclick option.
Just select, rightclick and your done.

Would this be for note-offs / meta or both?

but i still dont understand why we can put 2 or more note-off between two note!!!

Yes, not quite sure whether its just an old quirk or if theres a reason for it?

Tools like this are always actual due to list of possible features.

Some nice ideas in there Zed, in all honesty I don`t think they will all make it into this script, but certainly some ideas to look at.
