In the edit column, can we make the spectrum view the default, or have the option to toggle if you want to view the spectrum view by default or the scrapes view?

Really renoise should remember which was last open 'spectrum or scopes', same way it remembers window position or size of disk browser and thangs and stuff.

That or the ability to set a default template and have Renoise load said template. I would be perfectly happy loading from a default template that has renoise looking the way I want in the first place.

simple solution would be to assign shortcuts

also

you can use layout presets
