I quite often compose variations of a song. Currently I do save these variations in different song projects. That makes it very complicated to transfer new device settings from one variation to another. This leads me into the question if I can these variations into the same song and afterwards deactivate one variation (for later activation) in the sequence view so the song position will hop over the deactivated parts?
Well, that’s interesting. I don’t know of any song marker type functions in the matrix but you can use the break pattern (ZB) command like as if you was House of Pain and jump around? Or forward anyway. Works for me.
You could also create new tracks for your variations route them through a group where your track effects are set. And use the mute function in the matrix.
