Caught an unhandled fatal exception - playback of a specific song

Renoise has crashed five times today playing back a song I’ve been editing, the error in the log is as follows:

Application: Caught an unhandled fatal exception (Thread: AUDIO SLAVES)!

This error is exactly the same for each crash.

I’ve been making small edits to a track I’m working on. Edits include note changes, pattern commands and adding/editing effects on channels and samples. Making these changes are fine. Renoise is crashing whilst playing back the song, but there doesn’t seem to be a specific place where it’s crashing. I can play back the whole song without a problem, possibly a number of times, then on another play back it will crash.

I know it’s about to crash as I can hear a note being played where it shouldn’t, Renoise will then lock for about five seconds then print this message at the bottom of the window: Caught an unhandled fatal exception (Thread: AUDIO SLAVES)!. It will then terminate.

I’m not loading any third-party VSTs.
I’m not using any MIDI devices.

Version: Renoise V3.0.0 (Apr 7 2014) - 64Bit
OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (x86_64)

Sorry for the late reply. Have missed this post somehow.

Only thing I can see in the crash log is that some instrument seems to be somewhatbroken.

Could you give us access to this song, so we can check this here in detail?
