Sounds great. Did you use c64 samples?
The only c64 samples is the original kick and snare that I’ve layered with other drums, and the ringing sound is also a sample from the original, the rest is FM8 and Sylenth.
Nice! I like the little squeeky sounds in the background. I don’t know the original but I feel this could have a dirtier sound for the lead (more extreme PWM perhaps?) and off beat chords - to me it just sounds a bit too clean against the distorted drums and phat bass.
