+1 on this one, for ergonomy and health problems I now use a keyboard without numeric keypad, so I’m missing some keys and editing phrases is becoming a chore. As an added bonus I use a mechanical (clicky) keyboard.
Just a checkbox/binding on the phrase editor to enter notes from the MIDI keyboard would go a long way. No need for MIDI recording.
