0ld Song, Never Asked Feedbakc

a simple track i made a whlie ago last year. Imo it was really nothing special, so no effort was put in it.,. never asked feedbakc or dropped a link,.

I remastered it, (the original sounded too fuzzy and warm for my taste) And guess what, i like how it sounds now.

I downloaded this as soon as you released it but didn’t have the time to comment on it yet…

I like it. I like the sort of “fusion” of moods - the raw distorted break coupled with those deep and warm and kind of distorted pads and synths. Those pads and synths have a “heavenly” feel to them, but yet they’re distorted and they’re over a distorted beat. Cool stuff. I wonder how a more “live” sounding break would sound like?

BTW - did you ever finish your “Techniques for the Gifted” project? Is it a complete album? If so, why don’t you release the whole thing with cover art and stuff? Are you shopping it around to labels?

Check out my dancehall track if you can:

Thanks for the comments, I had no idea where this song stands, this is the first time someone commented on this song. The pads are definatly warm and deep. But the pads and this beat are enough to carry the song I suppose. What do you mean with “a more live sounding break”. I don’t understand what you mean

it has 8 tracks, and it is finished. Wich means i’m not doing anything with it anymore. Also very cool coverart i made, I got an 85 for it for my school assignement last year. At first when i finished "Techniques … ", i loved it. But now I’m only proud of 1 or 2 songs. They’re like a snapshot from the past, but a person evolves and so does his music.
It’s the same with at least 2 other projects i have lying here. I don’t like them anymore, so instead of actively shopping for labels, I’ll keep on trying to make that ultimate ‘perfect’ song.

wanna see the coverart?

By “more live sounding”, I mean just that. Drums that have a more “live” feel to them … kind of like in my track “Avoiding Oblivion”. I just wonder what it would sound like if you toned down the distortion a bit and maybe changed some drum samples. It’s not that I don’t like it the way it is!

You should release that whole album in a zip or something with coverart and everything! And yes, I would be interested in seeing the cover art for “Techniques…”. I know that’s one of your interests, and it would be cool to see.
