it definitely sounds like it has the potential to be some awsome (dark) d’n’b and i would even try to keep the minimal touch but it could use at least one more element (melody, pad or effects) in the bassline-heavy parts to mix it up a little bit.
mixing wise it has too much bass imo, the volume drop is terrifying.
