A little question about mute groups

Hey again.

Can it be that its really not possible to set up a cut / mute function unless you place things in the same track? I prefer working with different samples on different tracks. I dont wanna use more than 1 sample in the same track and I cant figure out how to set up something like a simple open/closed hihat without using note off commands or having to place them in the same track.

I’m afraid you need to put them in the same track - so, yes it’s currentlynot possible.

But I agree - unless there’s some tricky technical reason, this is how it should work.

@danoise, thanks for your reply. Wow, thats a major bummer. Hope it will be possible to use the mute groups on different tracks in future versions.
