Are sends always pre fader or is there an option to change them to post fader?
DAWs I’ve used before FL Studio, Live 9, have the sends post fader which just seems logical so am I missing something obvious guys?
The send device sends from any point in an effects chain, so they are always pre fader. Simply adjust the faders of the send device/send track instead.
Nope. Sends are post pre-mixer and pre post-mixer. If you want sends to work like in other DAWs just put a gainer device in front of the send and do your adjustments on that gainer. Saves you from re-adjusting your send-amount everytime after altering faders in the post-mixer.
Edit: Using the gainer means using it instead of the mixer-fader.
