Many plugin instruments are multi-timbral now, that is, support multiple patches on separate midi channels in one instance.
Currently you have to assign a single midi channel to an instrument and have no access to additional channels even if the instrument supports it.
It would be nice if in addition to the pan/dly columns, we could have a channel column, or some way to indicate which channel the note in the pattern should be sending on.
Just a thought since we’re talking about midi routing now and again…
