Analog/humanization: Possible to modulate a parameter of modulation?

Hi,

is it possible to modulate any parameter of a modulation parameter? For example if I have an AHDSR envelope and want to modulate the attack value slightly for an analog like modulation - is this possible currently and if so, how I can do it?

Thanks.

assign the parameters you want to instrument macros, put a macro automation device on your track and hook up some LFOs.

Thanks, the modulation of attack works in this way, only already played notes are influenced as well… Is there a way to prevent this? This should not happen for AHDSR values, right?

There’s probably a way…some combination of velocity tracker resetting a really slow LFO that introduces a new attack (or whatever) value probably does what you want. I’m not at my home computer right now, but I’ll see if I can figure something out later on…

so in this XRNS, a velocity tracker resets a random LFO that is set to infinte. It only updates the attack value when it receives new velocity information. the inertial slider is preventing clicks due to rapid jumps in values. hopefully this tackles the issue in your previous post, Jurek.

thanks centipus! I wish there was a more simple “analog” option in the ahdsr… Or an “analog AHDSR”

No problem mang…glad to help out.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “analog” in this context. Could you expand on that a little?

For homunization or analog imitation, i think adding lfo modulator with small amplitude of “random” waveform would do the trick… i usaly do some inmperfectances for track like that…
