i am more concerned with sound quality.
i think m-audio will work as i am using mac os x.
i’ve been told that anything i buy from m-audio will sound bad.
i’ve been directed towards Apogee duet as an alternative.
anyone use that?

Renoise is definately the best price/function in the universe.
