Hey all !

Here is the link for a track I’m working on since november (but i couldn’t finish it sooner because of my studies, and also the directing of a short film [for wich i’ll post a link too, soon !])

If you like to put things in boxes, you’ll certainly put this song in the “IDM” one.

I’ve made it with Renoise and Reaktor. Mixed with Nuendo but i wonder if we can say it’s mixed. I consider it more as a pre-version, but i don’t even know if i’ll work on it again later.

Your feelings, concerning both the track himself and the mix (I think i need advices on this side), are welcome (and wished).

I like your approach. Fitting title. I like how the percussion sounds. It’s has that over processed bitcrushed sound which I enjoy. I like the variation and it keeps me interested.

My only issue, and this might be just a matter of opinion… but I don’t like the flanger that is used. Again that could be just me.

I like the subtle synth playing fading in around 1:20. It works well within the composition and helps to set the mood. I am not nearly as fond of it when you start jamming at 2:16…

Overall I enjoy it and think you are doing a great job.
