Any Way To Have Midi Control Of Patch Changing?

All the new MIDI mapping stuff on 2.5 is great…

I’ve been playing with it and I can’t map MIDI buttons to change the patch on an instrument, probably the function I’d most like to have control of with MIDI!

Am I missing something or is it not possible? If it’s not possible, will it ever be possible?

You don’t need MIDI mapping for this. Simply send program change MIDI to Renoise, and it will change the selected instruments program (for plugins) or MIDI prg setting (for MIDI instruments).

Is there any way to change the VSTi program/patch just with your pc keyboard?

Nopes, no shortcuts, but MIDI CC program changes by effect command or through the MIDI control device (prg option) is possible. And the Midi control device is Midi-mappable :)
