if you aply an effect chain it is aplyed to the recording.
this makes no sence to me.
if you have the effects allready in a track.
why do you want to have it also in your recording.
it should be better to be able to ‘listen’ to the input with the aplyed effect.
but to have the recording itself clean.
if you want the effects aplyed to the recording you can always render it that way later on.

this way it works great for me, I was looking at it the other way around.
i was pretty confused too, at first. applying effects to the record doesn’t seem very clever to me at all. yeah, line-in device solves this but isn’t it a bit tricky?
when i look at nuendo, there’s solution with “repro icon”, when it’s off, i can record clean signal, when it’s on, i can hear signal+insert effects, plus dry signal is beeing recorded only.
but again, thanks a lot for implementing this, it simplifies my work, now i dont have to turn nuendo (for recording) on…
