I have a little problem. I have an Terratec EWS 88MT.
I use Renoise with ASIO drivers. If CPU Load is over 40% (or something similar) the sound stocks. It sounds like I doesn’t have enough CPU Power altough I have selected the highest latency availibale. I think it should only sound like this if cpu load is near 100%??
Sounds like something is wrong… could be a driver or hardware combination issue. In either case you should first optimize windows for background services (what OS do you run btw?). Then you can try tweaking windows to increase performance.
