just saw this on kvr
looks interesting
I’ve been playing around with this. It’s pretty cool. I think sequencer is a bit of a misnomer, although technically, it is. It’s more of a sequencer / arpeggiator hybrid. Most of the focus is on arpeggiation. I have barely scratched the surface with it, but you can definitely do some cool things with it. Basically, you use the sequencer to determine how it arpeggiates. You tune each step relative to the note you play, and each step is tuned using semi-tones. There are functions to move the sequencer forward, backward, random, etc. You can start getting into some really cool things by using micro-tonal scales and composing with notes and chords. You can also use it to control the behavior of other synths although I haven’t gotten into that yet. I’ve been composing a piece that needed some “machine-speak” and this turned out to be the perfect tool for that.
