I really like Renoise. The interface is great and it does (nearly) everything I want. Having an audio-in device routed to vst and other effects would make it complete for me. Another good feature I’ve noticed you are considering implementing is recording audio-in. If you do implement this, could you implement it in such a way that multitrack aiff files can be recorded rather than lots of separate stereo files? It’s easy to do as apple has already written all of the functionality for this (i’ve done a few command line programs that do just this) and it is much less taxing on slower hard disks.
That aside, I love your program. It inspires me to write, and is the only decent mod tracker currently available for mac, since playerpro has stopped development.
