Auto-loop function not works

Auto-loop function in plugin grabber (render to samples) not works.

Renoise 3.5.4, Windows 11

P.S. In Renoise 3.4.4 works fine.

I guess, I found culprit. It’s Paketti.

ok i think i’m seeing that you’re talking about auto-loop. i’ll have a look.

this is what i’m getting when i use plugin grabber with paketti installed.

looks like the second half of the sample is being looped by default, which.. is.. not what you’re after?

I run plugin grabber with autoloop function on, after rendering, samples appears with loop turned off, but crossfaded and ready for loop. If you turn on loop manually, everything is as it should be. Paketti settings are default.

for me, i’m seeing loop being set to On, and forward loop mode, and the last half of the sample is looped.

this is not what you want, is it?

but when i have paketti disabled, it still seems to act the same way - aka loop the second half of the sample.

i’m not 100% what is going on but if you can describe what is happening, and, what isn’t happening, please let me know and i’ll try to wrap my mind around it and figure out what’s going on.

My results looks like this.

I don’t know what is happening, but my renders are with No Loop, when Paketti enabled. In Renoise 3.4.4 all works fine.

I need to turn off “Enable monitoring” in Paketti preferences and now all works. Thanks Esaruoho for help.

neat. yep, i think i have it off by default, nowadays.

it’s a hijack hack method for changing the sample settings when a sample is loaded, or created.

but sometimes it clashes with stuff i have no control over (such as plugin grabber)
