if a VSTi window of an instrument slot is already open and i choose another VSTi in this intrument slot, the new VSTi window will be opened automatically
to prevent losing a song on a crash because of unstable VSTi’s, maybe it would be nice if a song backup is saved on choosing a new or another VSTi. this could be an option of the autobackup feature.
today i had 2 crashes because of loading a destroyed sound/sample into a new opened VSTi. (the reason for the crash was not Renoise) so i lost my new song!
