hi I watched Vv’s tutorial on automatically chopping a beat and I had an Idea… wouldn’t it be sweet if you could automate this process, where you set you timing 16th/128th etc. and renoise automatically chopped your beat up and generated a drum kit with all your cuts in it?
I know this may have been brought up before but I think it would make life alot easier and speed things up!

well lets say an automated sample distributionj sytem! 
I rather favor a beat offset-detection algorithm and then using the freehand offset node placeholders to set cut points and let Renoise do this clean and more precisely than it currently does in the raw method it performs right now.
