Guys, I don’t know if you can help me out. In an old version of Renoise it had a feature where you could adjust the tempo of a loop.
Imagine you are making something with 125 BPM, but you found a nice drum loop that plays at 130 BPM.
With that feature we only had to select like “adjust tempo” and it did all.
We only needed to have a perfect loop with no extra juice or silence in the end. I can’t find that in the last version I have, does this feature is still around but it’s my fault I don’t find it?
If it’s gone, why? It was an amazing help. Thanks!
I just wanted to pipe in here and reiterate that the native beatsync feature is an imperfect solution for this, since it also changes the pitch of the sample as it stretches. This may work ok for atonal or percussive sounds, but it’s not a complete solution for many other uses.
I’d recommend installing the RubberBand plugin, which actually lets you change the tempo without affecting the pitch of the sample.
