is this impossible to implement, or are there plans to implement this in the future? what’s the deal with this?

I think I’ve read somewhere that the autoseek algorithm is very cpu hungry and too intensive in combination with changing the pitch envelope(?).
bumping this because i think it deserves more than a guess? if it was discussed before could someone point me to the relevant thread?
Slightly offtopic, but I was wondering why Autoseek doesn’t work on all samples. Most of the time, it fails to work on long (recorded) samples. Ironicly, those are the samples on which I need the Autoseek function
Exactly. Unfortunately I don’t think we can fix/change this in the near future.
Could you please give us a few more details, maybe an example (xrnx) for this? Except of hitting return to preview the current line under the cursor, autoseek should always just work - without any other limitations/exceptions.
Please note that for multi-sample instruments, you have to enable auto seek for all samples in the instrument. Maybe that’s what confused you?
ok, thanks for the info taktik.
