But seriously… why not be able to select multiple areas in the sample editor to distribute to new samples/instruments?

Have the Lynx AES16 set as output and Tascam US-122 as input ( no clever remarks on latency and audio quality please… Just wanna make it work)
you meant select multiple regions in the sample editors waveform (like you’d select multiple samples in the disk op holding ctrl), right mouse click & select ‘cut to empty sample slots’ ? Could be useful.
If we are going in the direction of beatslicer here, why not add a right click , ‘cut & divide sample according to snap settings - to empty sample slots’ ?
edit: if you have a perfectly clean cut break synced to bpm, this way you have your workable chunks cut out in a second.
