Can Somebody Explain Me The Gate Sidechain Function

Hello,

i know sidechain as, if you have a trigger plugin and a receiver plugin. 2 different sources.
I found the gate 2 with sidechain input as receiver, but no trigger plugin. I’m looking for the function in the tutorial, but its not yet implemented in the tutorial.

Can somebody explain me how it works.

Hmm. Is there still the word “sidechain” somewhere in the release notes? I though I had eliminated them all?

well, there is a sidechain button in the gate dsp :)

Ai yeah. Sorry. Must have been blind. Let me rename this one to “Input”? now as well…
