I know this is probably not the best place to ask… but i have bin trying to buy Renoise and there seems to be some “issue”. I was mostly wanting to see if any other person was having this problem and some how had it fixed. I have tried MANY different forms of payment including but not limited to : PayPal, Visa, MasterCard etc.
I desperately want to give them my money lol, but even the people over at the payment processing service that Renoise store uses can’t seem to help
I’m at a loss, please can someone maybe tell me what form of payment they used that actually WORKED?? I want to be able to actually support the creators of Renoise via legit channels… but I’ve somehow managed to break the payment service
When I find myself battling a Web page the culprit is often (but not always) a conflict between some site script and one or more browser extensions (noscript, adblock, ghostery, no 3rd-party cookies, etc.).
Worth checking to see if you are using anything like that.
Some banks block payments that are out of your usual buying pattern, especially if the payments are to different countries.
My bank told me that their system does not like Paypal very much (apparently it is used in a lot of scams, false charges), bigger-than-usual paypal purchases have a big chance of triggering their security systems.
Can’t really blame them, better safe than sorry.
Anyhow, you may try to call your bank and check if it was from their side.
yeah, i tried all of the above suggestions to no avail, i contacted my bank and they said “renoise” or their partner store company have not tried to charge my account. I transferred twice the amount of money needed to buy renoise directly onto my paypal account and STILL the renoise paysite gives me the same error message… i have contacted multiples of support lines both via email, and phone. It seems there is no way for me to legitimately purchase renoise 3 I’m TRYING to give them my money and support the developers… but it seems that’s just not an option for me unfortunately.

I have never heard about this issue before, how can this be?
Have you tried paying from another computer? Do you have problems paying for other stuff on the net? Different browsers? Proxy?
