Clipboard Indicator

well done,
but maybe we could get the old (4 dots) clipboard indicator back? like in v1.2.
yes, i know im stressing but i think its very important to know which clipboard is already in use.
btw: is nobody else using the internal clipboard?

I can understand your point somewhere here.

I could ask you a different question:
Would you like to have more than 4 clipboards in Renoise

If your answer would be yes, then how about pasting the clipboard contents into multiple open copies of notepad or a different texteditor?
At least this is my answer to the question why i don’t use the internal clipboards anymore.

thank you vV for replying.
maybe it shows that nearly nobody is arranging inside renoise via clipboards…
the 4 clipboards re my method of arranging my song while composing.

ok, ill export everything…

The clipboard no longer applies to the Pattern Editor only, but to everything in Renoise that can be copy and pasted, so the Advanced Edit would be the wrong place for this.

Putting it into the main interface is IMHO a bit too much detail. Many people dont want to see that function as they dont use it regulary…

A workaround could be programmed, when the advanced edit scripting is implemented. One could use a script for storing and getting xml snippets.
