just stick to some linux flavor if you are mostly (only) renoise user, so you will have no issues with compatibility/updates etc… You will struggle at first but it will pay off for some time, trust me. At this point your specs are not concern as most of linux distros don’t require much to work with…
That is all good unless you have other software that you use most of the time (and which is not supported on linux of your choice).
No Windows, no Mac, feel free, work free, customize as you wish (if you do not want to, it’s ok, it’s still usable). Fire up some renoise containers within docker, setup High-availability etc… have fun…
