Controlling Instrument Filter Cutoff

I don’t know if this is relevant thread anymore, but here’s how I did it (see attachment).

1. Draw (linear whatever) cutoff within envelope editor.

2. Use E command on track to change position.

This is great! I found turning ‘sustain’ On and dragging the sustain point to the beginning keeps the envelope from triggering through unless tracked in with the commands.

Coming back to Renoise, and finding it’s really the perfect DAW for me. Had to find the right balance between hardware and software, and now I feel like Renoise really turns my laptop into an instrument.

I find that when I really and truly care about what the filter does, I set it up in the track instead of the instrument. I usually only use volume, pitch, and maybe pan…

I’m glad you enjoyed mpReberb.

For me, it was the beginning of the end, in terms of making music. The more I got inside the technology, the more I lost sight of the art, until eventually (while working on Orion for Synapse Audio) I completely lost interest.
