If opera had adblock plus, I would probably use opera for every day browsing. The “block element” feature opera has, is not comparable to ABP unfortunately. And this feature will never come either, as blocking ads is still with questionable ethics.
Sorry, I understand that this is how some sites make their money, but if page loads forever, drags my CPU to 100% to render all those flashing and blinking things and I actually have to search for the content inside the page, there is something totally wrong. Until people find other ways to make money, or better ways of advertisement, ABP is really something necessary for browsing the web.
