Copy/Paste Automation pane envelopes freely

Hi All!

In automation pane copy/paste working only on the same effect. I want to copy an envelope and paste to another FX in DSP chain. For an example: i recorded a Delay Send envelope and i want to use this envelope on a Analog Filter’s Cutoff in same track DSP chain but i can’t. Copy/paste freely envelopes between FX chain would be nice! Another suggestion: making an envelope from pattern FX column or making a FX column from envelope would be great too! So, if i recording an envelope i want to use this envelope freely.

Are you recording automation in the pattern or in the automation editor? In the automation editor you can copy/cut and paste automation easy between devices. You’ll need to focus the automation editor ( for example through middle mouse clicking inside it) then make a selection through the mouse or ctrl+a, then copy or cut it to your wanted device parameter.

i made automation specific shortcuts, and also into the automation list. it’s in paketti as of now.

Thx a lot! My problem is solved. My bad! I Created an Envelope in Envelope Pane for Delay Send level. What i wanted was using this envelope to an Analog Filter’s Cutoff. I thought if i click the drop down arrow on the left side in my device list i can choose the Device and it’s parameter and paste the Envelope to this parameter. Won’t work, now i know why. Instead of this i created a “fake” Envelope in Envelope Pane for this Filter device and now i can copy/paste the Delay’s envelope to this Device. I use Renoise for decades but i never stop learning it! Again, thank you Guys!

Thinking out of box is always better than to make no progress…and ask someone else who knows better!
