Copying Loop Points In Samples

How do I copy loop points from one sample to another? The reason I ask is because I tried to export some wavs from an instrument and re-import them into another intrument, and the loop points were lost, which was a little frustrating. I can’t find any way to copy them over! :(

i think what you need to do is save it as an instrument

Thanks for replying. That works, but what if I want to use these samples in another instrument?

oh hmm thats a hard one

i dont think that can be done yet

if it was possible to import an instrument into another instrument i think it would work but it might really goof up your original instrument

there isnt really that much control over doing what i think your trying to do yet

if you could possibly do that in another tracker an then import an xm?
im not sure if theres another tracker that could do this
but if there is it might be worth doing to not have to individually have to do it your self every time

Well, haven’t tested this functionality very extensively, but you tried to save the sample right?
Did it saved any properties that were bound to the sample?

I mean there is an option in Renoise where you can order it to ignore loop-points in Wav’s when loading them. They may affect them the same way if you save them as well.
But if they would be written along, you could also reload those samples into another instrument (which is one of the methods).
