Creating A Mod?

hey hi again…=)

I have now reached the point where I would like to make my own mod file!
I would like to save my XRNS with samples, commands and so on…

the way I understand it, is that I can save it as a ZIP file and the rename it to XRNS
the other way is something about making it as an XML…
but I absolutly dont know anything about it!
so i have to start from scratch…

can anyone guide me into this either by links or a reply?

big up to all trackers-irc boys-and my keyboard.
cheers=)

Renoise is a newschool tracker… it doesn’t save to MOD formats. The Renoise XRNS file structure is simply a zip file containing an XML file called Song.xml and a folder with samples in it. To access the contents of the XRNS file, you can rename the .XRNS extension to .ZIP … but that won’t help you in regards to creating a .MOD song. You’d need to program a converter of some sort, and even then, your song won’t sound the same in .MOD format.

… Why do you want to use .MOD format anyway?

OK
the reason why i am saying (mod file) is just because I thought that it was the only way to save a song with all my samples and stuff.
I didn’t know, that by saving the song it automaticly collected all the info’s of it…
this diffidently solve my question!!

again I have to say it out loud
you guys fucking rocks=)
monster cheers
