I would like to hear some feedback on a remix I have made using Renoise. It’s Dance (with a little bit of trance)!
Solid production, i would shorten the track to someting around 5:30. For an 8 minute track, there is to less variation to keep the song interesting, maybe adding a synthline or two would do. The chip effect was also neat and fits into the song. At 1:37 the vocal sample sounds a bit strange for me, like a cutoff filter which doesn’t fit well.
i like it… pretty good melody.
I like the first part, up til 1.37… and then it countinues in the end from 7.00… the trance parts I guess… This sounds like the main theme to me. You should use it more often… all through the song if you ask me. ![]()
listening to the song now, indeed remembers me of way back 90’s
… but still sounds way nice though
keep up the good work
you must have been listening to some older tunnel trance cd’s or the dome or something before making this? … lol
cheerz
Thank you all for the nice comments and sugesstions to improve the song!
listening now. good track - you sing yourself? ![]()
What is a “chip effect”?
c-64 kind of music.
that music is called chip-music, because it came (comes) from the SID-CHIP but is popularily simulated with trackers and very small samples, too. take a look at the arpeggio command for the chip-feeling ![]()
