Update: cleared my cookies and cache, the new layout loaded, but once i logged in, it reverted to the old theme.
No biggie.
Might be patched soon

OMG today I found a new Renoise update, but also I felt like:
I’m glad this can be changed back in the settings… Felt too subtle and empty for me under that hood, had to change it back asap…
Too dark and too bright yellow,i will stick with the dark reader extension in Brave browser
