When pressing the command delete unused instruments I would find it useful if the instrument list was tidied up also.
i.e. with xx instruments, slots 00 to xx were filled with no gaps. This would save having to do this manually after this command.
Suppose that you are still not finished with the song…
You have to lookup the instrument tables again to find the instrument that used to be on another slot before the cleaning and shuffling action was done.
This can be irritating as well.
Fair point, but not as irritating as the manual reshuffle IMO, with instrument capture aswell it doesn`t seem to big a deal to me.
This could, maybe be a right-click option in the menu for the instrument list if it would cause others more problems. Was going to suggest this initially but thought that this way would save filling up the right-click menus.
One thing i miss if i want to manually erase multiple instruments (shift-click select or ctrl-click random slot select and then delete)
Yes I think this would be a good addition too, a vote for this one also.
