Delete Unused Patterns In 2.8

Used to use this all the time to effectively create templates from existing songs, is there any easy way of deleting all the unused patterns in renoise 2.8?

Edit -> Delete Unused Patterns (second option from the bottom)

Is there as of now a non-scripting way to see if there are unused patterns in a song?

Maybe not the exact answer,

I usually insert a new pattern at the end and manually scan to check if I have any unused patterns.

I forget where the thread is, but if “keep sequences sorted” is enabled, unused patterns are saved at the end,

which is how I have it set up, and makes it easier to check on unused patterns.

If “keep sequences sorted” is disabled, then pattern 2 for example will stay at that number, so my guess is that the manual scanning

of unused patterns may take longer.
