Deleting Notes

Hi, I think I’ve got most of the process stuff down (at least for sequencing, patterns, etc.). One thing that is really bothering me, and maybe I just don’t know how to do it, is removing a note. Is there a simple way to remove a single note? I feel stupid even asking this question, but I can’t find a way to do it.

delete deletes the note.

backspace removes the tick and moves the stuff below up.

you can also select a line with shift and arrow keys and ctrl+x

Ha! Thanks for the reply. I was looking for it in the context menu. Guess I should have just tried the delete key. I thought about the ctrl-x thing but I didn’t want the item on my clipboard. I knew it would be an obvious thing.

Thank you very much!

Steve

don’t forget alt+delete. it deletes entire lines.

and simply press delete to only delete the note without moving the stuff below the deleted note!

Ha! I couldn’t figure out why this wasn’t working. Last night, in my first project, I discovered that you have to have the record button pressed in order for the delete key to work.
