Different Grooves

Hey!

Is there a easy way to get two (or more) different grooves in a song? Some pattern commands maybe?

sure.
a few solutions:

  • write the bpm/speed (f1XX or f0XX)
    e.g.:

f06c
…
f078
…
f06c
…
f078

(but keep in mind that your tempo-based vsts get messed up; better you use the speedcommand f1XX)

  • use DX (delay command)

  • use groove-settings and render to sample-slot

  • another good method: use loops that were off-beat and some volume commands.

Yeah, engine. I´ve figured that out, but its a very complicated way to set a groove. I was looking for a basic pattern command to control the “groove settings”

The problem with f1XX and f0XX is that it messes up beatsynced samples though.

So I like the delay command, or even increasing the resolution so I don’t need it.
